Use the Speedy Order app in Claude and other AI apps
Connect the Order app to Claude or another AI app, then ask it in plain words to find a fabric, check stock, quote a job, send an order or tell you where a job is up to. It logs in with your own Order app login and can only do what that login can do.
What it can do
- See fabrics, stock and prices.
- Make quotes.
- Send orders to Speedy, after it shows you each order and you say yes.
- See the status of your sent jobs.
Before an order can be sent, your AI has to get a preview of the whole order at today's price and show it to you. The connector won't take an order that wasn't previewed first. It works with your trade prices only: your markup, margin and selling prices stay in the app.
What it can't do
- Make payments.
- Change or cancel a job once it's sent.
- See anything your login can't see. A Sales login sees its own jobs, an Admin login sees the company's.
Before you start
- You need an Order app login, Admin or Sales. The Order app is for retailers we supply. If you're buying for your own home, ask a curtain retailer near you.
- Ask us to switch AI on for your login: call 0436 666 687 or email sales@speedyblinds.com.au.
- Log in to the Order app once in the browser you'll connect from, with the code we email you. The connector's sign in only works in a browser the Order app already knows.
- Your AI never needs an API key or a password typed into a chat. You sign in on our own sign in page.
Connect it in Claude, on the web or the desktop app
Any Claude plan. The Free plan takes one custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner adds it for everyone first, in Organization settings, then Connectors, then Add, then Custom. A member then only chooses Connect beside it.
Connector address
https://app.spdy.au/mcp- In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- In Name, type Speedy Order app.
- In the URL box, paste the connector address.
- Leave Advanced settings as they are. OAuth Client ID and OAuth Client Secret stay empty. If Claude asks how people sign in, choose Sign in now.
- Choose Add.
- Choose Connect beside Speedy Order app.
- When "Sign in with your Order app login" opens, log in with the email and password you use in the Speedy Order app. If it says this device isn't remembered yet, log in to the app on this device first, then connect again.
- Read what it will be able to do, then choose Allow.
What we saw ourselves: When we connected it on 13 October 2026, Connectors was under Settings.
When it's worked: It worked when Claude answers "Who am I signed in as?" with your name and your company.
From Anthropic's own help pages, read 13 October 2026. They can change.
Connect it in ChatGPT, on the web
Added in ChatGPT on the web. OpenAI's page doesn't say which plans can, and a workspace's admin can switch it off.
Connector address
https://app.spdy.au/mcp- On chatgpt.com, open Plugins.
- Choose the plus button, then Add custom MCP server.
- In Name, type Speedy Order app. Leave Description empty.
- Under Connection, paste the connector address into Server URL.
- Set Authentication to OAuth.
- Choose I understand and want to continue.
- Choose Create as a plugin.
- Find the plugin in your Plugins list and install it.
- When "Sign in with your Order app login" opens, log in with the email and password you use in the Speedy Order app. If it says this device isn't remembered yet, log in to the app on this device first, then connect again.
- Read what it will be able to do, then choose Allow.
What we saw ourselves: When we added it on 13 October 2026, the plugin took a few minutes to show in the Plugins list. Wait for it, and don't add it a second time.
When it's worked: It worked when, in a new chat, you type @, choose the plugin, ask "Who am I signed in as?" and ChatGPT answers with your name and your company.
From OpenAI's own help pages, read 13 October 2026. They can change.
Connect it in the Codex desktop app
Connector address
https://app.spdy.au/mcp- In Codex, open Settings, then MCP servers.
- Choose Add server.
- Enter a name: speedy.
- Choose Streamable HTTP, not STDIO.
- Enter the connector address as the URL.
- Save the server, then choose Restart.
- Choose Authenticate.
- When "Sign in with your Order app login" opens, log in with the email and password you use in the Speedy Order app. If it says this device isn't remembered yet, log in to the app on this device first, then connect again.
- Read what it will be able to do, then choose Allow.
What we saw ourselves: When we connected it on 13 October 2026, the menu was Settings, then Plugins, then MCPs, then Connect to a custom MCP. With Type left on STDIO and the address in Command to launch, Save did nothing. We set Type to Streamable HTTP, pasted the address into URL, and left Command to launch, Bearer token and Headers empty.
When it's worked: It worked when Codex answers "Who am I signed in as?" with your name and your company.
From OpenAI's own help pages, read 13 October 2026. They can change.
Connect it in Claude Code
Connector address
https://app.spdy.au/mcp- In a terminal, run: claude mcp add --transport http --scope user speedy https://app.spdy.au/mcp
- Then run: claude mcp login speedy
- When "Sign in with your Order app login" opens, log in with the email and password you use in the Speedy Order app. If it says this device isn't remembered yet, log in to the app on this device first, then connect again.
- Read what it will be able to do, then choose Allow.
When it's worked: It worked when Claude Code answers "Who am I signed in as?" with your name and your company.
From Anthropic's own help pages, read 13 October 2026. They can change.
Connect it in your app
Not every app gets through. The sign in answers only an app this connector knows, or an app on your own computer.
Connector address
https://app.spdy.au/mcp- In your app, find where it adds a connector. It may be called a custom connector, an MCP server or a plugin.
- Choose a remote server. If it asks for a type or transport, choose Streamable HTTP (or HTTP), never STDIO.
- Paste the connector address as the URL.
- If it asks how to sign in, choose OAuth. Leave any API key, token, client ID and client secret empty.
- Save it, then choose Connect, Authenticate or Log in.
- When "Sign in with your Order app login" opens, log in with the email and password you use in the Speedy Order app. If it says this device isn't remembered yet, log in to the app on this device first, then connect again.
- Read what it will be able to do, then choose Allow.
When it's worked: It worked when your app answers "Who am I signed in as?" with your name and your company.
Let your AI do it
Copy this message and send it to your AI. An AI that can add a connector does it. One that can't tells you the steps.
Please connect yourself to the Speedy Order app. Here is everything you need: Type: remote MCP server, Streamable HTTP (not STDIO) URL: https://app.spdy.au/mcp Name: speedy Authentication: OAuth. I sign in on a web page. There is no API key, token or client secret, so leave those empty. 1. Add it as a connector with the details above. 2. Start the sign in and give me the sign in page. I'll log in with my Speedy Order app login and choose Allow. Don't ask me for my password here. If the sign in page says this device isn't remembered yet, I'll log in to the app on this device first, then we connect again. 3. When it's connected, use its whoami tool and tell me which login and company you're signed in as. If you can't add a connector yourself, tell me the exact menu and buttons to use in this app, one step at a time.
Then try saying
- “Who am I signed in as?”
- “Which sheer curtain fabrics do you have in white, and are they in stock?”
- “Quote a curtain for the Smith lounge. Track 2400, drop 2600, pick up. Ask me for anything else you need.”
- “Send that job as an order.”
- “What orders have I got at the moment?”
It asks you for anything it still needs, the way the order form would.
It didn't work?
- Save does nothing
- Type is still STDIO. Set Type to Streamable HTTP, and paste the address into URL, not into Command to launch.
- It asks for an API key, a token or a client secret
- Leave it empty and choose OAuth. You sign in with your Speedy Order app email and password instead. Don't paste a key or a password into an AI.
- "This device isn't remembered yet"
- Log in to the Speedy Order app in this browser first, with the code we email you. Then connect again.
- "AI assistants aren't switched on for this login"
- Ask us to switch it on for your login.
- The sign in says "not verified" or "We don't know this app"
- That's expected for an app we haven't added to our list yet. Choose Allow only if you started connecting it yourself, just now.
- ChatGPT says it doesn't have the plugin
- Give it a few minutes, then check your Plugins list again before adding it a second time.
- "This app can't connect"
- Nothing was connected. The sign in answers only an app this connector knows, or an app on your own computer.
- It worked before and stopped
- A connection lasts 30 days, and changing your password ends it. Connect it again the same way.
Still stuck? Call us on 0436 666 687 or email sales@speedyblinds.com.au, 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Disconnect it
- In the Order app, open Profile, then the AI tab, and choose Disconnect beside it. It stops working straight away.
- You can also remove the connector in Claude, ChatGPT or your other app.
- A connection ends by itself after 30 days, and changing your Order app password ends every one. To use it again, connect it the same way.
Your information
Your AI app is run by its own company: Claude and Claude Code by Anthropic, ChatGPT and Codex by OpenAI. When you use the connector, that company receives what you ask and what we answer, such as fabrics, prices, quotes, job references and delivery addresses. What it does with them is under its own terms and privacy policy.
We keep a record of each connection, each quote and order it makes, and a log of each request. The log holds no names, addresses or anything typed. The whole of it is in our privacy policy, under The AI connector.
