Where are Speedy Blinds products made?
Speedy Blinds products are made at our own factory in Thomastown, in Melbourne's north, in Victoria, Australia. Curtains, curtain tracks and roller blinds are all manufactured there for retailers. The fabrics, motors and hardware that go into them come from suppliers and have their own countries of origin.
Order data, machinery, production and checking all sit in the one place. Keeping them together is most of the reason we can move quickly without the process changing shape from one job to the next.
"Made in Melbourne" means the manufacturing we do. Fabrics, motors, hardware and components come from suppliers and have their own countries of origin. We don't describe them as locally made, because for most of them that isn't true.
Retailers can collect their orders from the factory during office hours. If you're buying for your own home, your curtain retailer is the one to order through.
