Can I supply my own curtain fabric?

Yes, you can supply your own curtain fabric for suitable curtain work, but it has to come through a retailer. Speedy Blinds makes up approved fabric for retailers, and they need to talk to us before any fabric is sent, so it arrives identified, usable and with enough length for the job.

The fabric has to arrive clearly identified, in usable condition, and with enough material for the specification on the order. We need the retailer, job and fabric details so the roll can be received and allocated to the right job when it lands.

Fabric behaviour, defects, shortages, pattern placement and the supplier's care requirements all need working through before production starts. We record what we received and what we used, but customer supplied material sits under our current BYO fabric process and the manufacturing terms.

Fabric shouldn't be sent to the factory unidentified, and nobody can give a production date until the material has arrived and been accepted for the job. Timing starts from the fabric, not the order. If you have fabric of your own, take it to a curtain retailer first: they measure, place the order and tell you how the fabric should be sent.

This answer is general information. For your own windows, your retailer's advice and your order with them come first.
