Does more fullness make Wave Fold hang straighter?

More fullness does not make a Wave Fold curtain hang straighter on its own. Extra fullness changes how much fabric is in the curtain, how deep the wave is and how big the stack is when the curtain is open. It can't make a stiff or unsuitable fabric hang straight.

The result also depends on the fabric's construction and finish, the heading, runner spacing, hem, drop, how the track was installed, and whether the curtain was trained.

A stiff or heavily structured fabric can resist the intended curve no matter how much fabric you add. A soft fabric may form the wave easily, but look at the actual sample at the intended scale before you decide.

Choose fullness for the look you want and the system your retailer is quoting. It isn't a general purpose fix for a fabric that doesn't drape.

This answer is general information. For your own windows, your retailer's advice and your order with them come first.
