Why is it called Speedy Blinds if you make curtains?
Speedy Blinds is called Speedy Blinds because the business was named when blinds were the popular product. Curtains are the focus now, with curtain tracks and roller blinds alongside, and the name stayed. Speedy was never about rushing a job. It describes a factory set up to move.

"Speedy" was never about rushing a job. It describes a factory set up to move: clearer order data, better machinery, a process that repeats.
Today we make curtains, curtain tracks and roller blinds for retailers and installers out of Thomastown. SPDY is the shortened mark on the logo and the domain. The company is still Speedy Blinds. We don't sell to the public, so if you want curtains or blinds for your home, a local retailer is the place to start.
