No one to ask when a job gets tricky?

What a supplier might tell you, crossed out: “I’ll have to find out and get back to you.”

What we say instead: Talk to the people who make it.

Speedy Blinds takes calls, texts and WhatsApp on one number, 0436 666 687, 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, Melbourne time, and our manufacturing limits, motor setup guides and live fabric stock are on this site, with no login.

A Speedy Blinds staff member on a headset holds a length of curtain track with a bracket and points to a job on screen, fabric sample books and a tubular motor on the desk and the factory floor through the glass behind.

What it costs you

  • Your installer is up a ladder with a question, and nobody at the supplier knows the answer.
  • You quote a size the workroom can’t make, and find out after your customer has said yes.
  • A motor won’t pair, and the fix is a week of emails.

What you can be certain of

Straight advice, not a site service.
    How you’ll know
We don’t measure or install, and our advice is about the product, not your site. The wall, the ceiling and the load stay your installer’s call.

Six limits to know before you quote

From our written tolerances, one line each.

How wide can one panel be?

6.0m track width or 15.0m fabric width, whichever uses less fabric, and up to 6.2m drop.

How long can a track be without a join?

5,800mm straight or angle bend, 4,800mm continuous bend.

How big can a pre trained curtain be?

Wave Fold and S Fold: 4.8m or 90 hooks a section, whichever is less, up to two sections (9.6m or 180 hooks in total). Pleats: 4.5m or 45 hooks in total. Up to 3.6m drop.

What can’t be pre trained?

Not available for any composition other than 100% polyester; sheers with uneven thread distribution; voile; open weave; warp knit mesh; lace mesh; perforated fabric; velvet; self lined blockout with acrylic, silicone or TPU; or pencil pleat headings. And 100% polyester isn’t automatically safe: some fabrics shrink or move unevenly in the process, and it can’t always be predicted.

What are the Group C limits?

Wave Fold only, continuous drop, no joins, up to 6,000mm per panel and 2,950mm drop.

Can you join fabric horizontally?

No. Joins are vertical only. Horizontal joins aren’t offered, for appearance and durability.

Beyond the panel limits a curtain is oversized: we’ll use reasonable efforts to make it, but our tolerances and the Made to Spec Guarantee only apply if we’ve agreed that in writing.

Questions retailers ask

Can my installer call you from the job?

Yes. Same number, same hours: 0436 666 687, 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. A photo or a short video on WhatsApp with the job number means we’re looking at the same thing they are.

Do you measure or install?

No. We don’t provide measuring, fitting or installation. Measuring and installing are yours, or your installer’s. It’s clause 2.3 of our trading terms.

What we can give you is advice about the product: what a configuration can do and where its limits are. It isn’t installation advice for a particular site, so the wall, the ceiling, the fixings and the load stay your installer’s call.

Can you help me program a motor?

Start with the guide for your motor: 8 roller blind motor models, written step by step, with setup videos alongside. If it still won’t pair, call or WhatsApp us on 0436 666 687 with the motor model.

When can I reach you?

8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, Melbourne time, excluding Victorian public holidays. Call, text or WhatsApp 0436 666 687. It’s one number for all three.

What if a job is over your limits?

Ask us before you quote it. It’s always faster than fixing it afterwards. Some limits are firm: horizontal joins aren’t available at all. Past the panel limits a curtain counts as oversized, and it’s covered by our tolerances and the Made to Spec Guarantee only where we’ve agreed that in writing.

Start with one job

No application, no minimum, no contract.

Send us one job and see how it comes back. Most retailers start that way.

Tell us what you sell, where you work and what you need from a workroom. We’ll tell you plainly whether we’re the right fit, and if we’re not, we’ll say that too.

Tell us about your business

Leave your details and we’ll call you back.

We’ll only use these details to talk to you about a wholesale account. Please don’t enter your own customers’ details here.
