Losing jobs on price?
What a supplier might tell you, crossed out: “Your price comes down once you’re doing more volume.”
What we say instead: One price list for every retailer, from your first job.
At Speedy Blinds everyone pays the same list (no volume pricing, no negotiated rates, and $0 extra for an urgent job), so you never have to wonder whether the shop down the road is quoting off better numbers.

What it costs you
- You quote a fair price, and the job goes to whoever came in lower.
- You find out a bigger shop gets a better rate from the same supplier.
- An urgent job comes with a rush fee you can’t pass on.

Questions retailers ask
Do I need volume to get a better price?
No. There’s one price list and everyone pays it: no volume pricing, no negotiated rates, no better deal for asking twice. Four jobs a year cost what four jobs a week cost.
Do urgent jobs cost more?
No. There’s no rush fee. Tell us a job is urgent and we’ll tell you straight away whether we can do it, and if we can, it costs the same.
Why do you want payment before production?
Every job is paid in full, in cleared funds, before it goes into production. We don’t run credit accounts. That’s the trade off that keeps one price on the list and keeps us making instead of chasing invoices.
Most of our retailers take a deposit from their own customer, so the money is in hand before the order reaches us.
What’s included in the base price?
Every curtain on the list includes a Wave Fold or S Fold (1 or 2 piece) heading; S20, S15 or C15 hand drawn straight track; top fix, single face fix or single extended face fix brackets; 54mm runner + 108mm tape, or 60mm runner + 120mm tape; and a factory weighted, 30mm, 80mm or 100mm bottom hem. Track and brackets are included where the job has them.
Is delivery extra?
$45 a job to Melbourne metro and the metro areas of other capital cities, and nothing when the job is over $1,000. Outside Melbourne metro we deliver curtains only; tracks and roller blinds are delivered in Melbourne metro only. Regional delivery is quoted separately, and so is an oversize carton (over 1.8m or 20kg). The Order app shows the charge on the job before you send it, and list prices include GST.
Do I have to retype a quote to order it?
No. Quick Quote in the Order app prices the job as you enter it, and when your customer says yes, the quote becomes a job in one tap, every line as you quoted it.
